These Boots are Made for Walking

The hottest accessory every season on the Fall runway is most definitely the Boot.
Whilst the popularity of boots as fashion footwear ebbs and flows, today, they are becoming increasingly popular, especially designs that have a long bootleg. Made popular in the 1960s and 1970s, by the singer Nancy Sinatra they had diminished in popularity towards the end of the 20th century. Today they echoe elegance and style.
Boots seen on the runways of Salvatore Ferragamo, Gucci and Christian Louboutin are all readily available in high-end shops such as Neiman Marcus, Macy's, House of Fraser and Saks Fifth Avenue. Sites like Bluefly and Overstock.com will also carry premier brands at lower costs. Boots regularly discovered on here are Christian Dior, Sergio Rossi, Miu Miu and the notorious Jimmy Choo.
I loved the Miu Miu Dragonfly available online for a lot less tan the £2,155 retail prices.
We first saw the Chanel black over-the-knee boots on Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada. Kate Moss, Hayden Panettiere and Hilary Duff also followed suit.
The Christian Louboutin Ariella Studded Shoes appears to also be a favourite of many a celebrity. Not one of my personal favourites!
Leesa loves:
- The Ferragamo Neser Riding Boot
- Enzo Angiolini 'Sena' Bootie
- Franco Sarto 'Bundt' Leather Riding Boot
- Prada's Suede T Strap Floral shoe
